What if I need to delete/reset the Password Vault? Before you begin If you are seeing the message pictured below and need assistance, click here.  Overview If you're getting invalid password errors when you update your accounts, the Password Vault may contain incorrect information. The best way to correct this is to recreate the Password Vault. In order to recreate the Password Vault, you need to print a record of the stored passwords, delete the Password Vault and then create it again. You can also use the steps below if you have forgotten the Vault password. Why am I seeing Time Out, Oops, Page Not Found, or Uh-oh errors in Quicken? Quicken has released critical updates for all supported products in order to migrate users from the Intuit ID to the new Quicken ID.   If you didn’t install this update, you may experience errors when trying to use Quicken.  You may also see a Mint/Intuit "Page not found" message. The 2018 Release of Quicken does not require updates to complete the migration as it already contains the necessary components. Why do I get an error that my account needs to be migrated or that my Quicken ID already exists when I try to create my Quicken ID? Overview When creating or attempting to sign in to the new Quicken ID, you may receive an error that "The provided Quicken ID is taken" or that "Your account needs to be migrated."  There are two causes and resolutions to this issue, depending on which error you receive (pictured below): Error 1: This Quicken ID already exists. Sign in, recover your account . Why does this happen? This may occur if you've already migrated your email to the Quicken ID, or if you accidentally clicked Create Account instead of Sign In.
